August 18 news: Digital blogger @看山的叔叔 revealed the rear lens protective film of Huawei Mate 40 and Huawei Mate 40 Pro on Weibo today.
It can be seen from the picture that Huawei Mate 40 Pro uses an "Oreo" circular rear camera lens module, which is suspected to use a periscope zoom lens + dual large-bottom lens + TOF depth of field camera; while Huawei Mate 40 uses a similar module appearance, but it is suspected that the periscope zoom lens is cancelled and a large-bottom lens + two unknown ordinary lenses are used.
IT Home learned that the lens protective film is a protective measure designed to protect the lens and prevent the lens from being scratched in daily life without affecting the image quality.
The Huawei P40 Pro+ released in the first half of this year has a Huawei-innovated 10x zoom lens with an equivalent focal length of 240mm. This lens is similar in appearance to the zoom lens used in the leaked image of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. It is possible that the zoom lens used in the Huawei Mate 40 Pro is an optimized and upgraded version of the 10x zoom lens used in the Huawei P40 Pro+.
