Well-known whistleblower evleaks released renderings of Microsoft Surface Duo, which is Microsoft's first work after returning to the mobile phone market.
As shown in the picture, Surface Duo consists of two 5.6-inch displays. The two screens are connected by a hinge. The resolution of each screen is 1080P and the refresh rate may be 60Hz.
In terms of core configuration, Surface Duo uses Qualcomm's 2019 flagship platform Snapdragon 855, equipped with 6GB of memory, up to 256GB of storage, an 11-megapixel main camera, runs Android 10, and will be upgraded to Android 11 later.
It is worth noting that Microsoft Surface Duo focuses on a dual-screen experience. It will provide multi-tasking operations similar to a PC. The two screens run different tasks separately without interfering with each other.
According to foreign media reports, Microsoft has created a customized system for Surface Duo, and the Android version of Office is exclusively optimized for the Surface Duo dual screen.
Finally, the release time is what everyone is concerned about. It is reported that Microsoft Surface Duo may debut on August 24. The phone has obtained FCC certification and is not far from going on sale.
