The patent war between Appotronics and Delta Electronics has reignited.
Shenzhen Appotronics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Appotronics") recently issued a lawsuit announcement. The announcement shows that Delta Electronics Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Delta Electronics") filed a patent lawsuit against Appotronics and Appotronics' holding subsidiary Fengmi (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fengmi Technology").
Delta Electronics stated that the two defendants allegedly infringed two of its patents, including Patent No. ZL201010624724.5 (“light source system and projection device including the light source system”) and Patent No. ZL201310017478.0 (“optical system”).
It is reported that the allegedly infringing product is the Mijia laser projection TV product with model number "MJJGTYDS01FM".
In response to this patent lawsuit, Delta Electronics requires Appotronics and Fengmi Technology to immediately stop the manufacturing and sales of the patent-infringing products involved in the case and other infringing activities; jointly compensate for their economic losses totaling RMB 30 million and reasonable expenses for rights protection totaling RMB 2.02 million; and immediately destroy the infringing products in stock and the special molds used to manufacture the infringing products.
In addition, Light Peak Technology pointed out in the announcement that it had previously filed an invalidation request for Patent No. ZL201310017478.0 with the National Intellectual Property Administration, and received the "Decision on Examination of Request for Invalidation" from the National Intellectual Property Administration, which declared that all patent rights were invalid.
It is worth mentioning that in early June, Fengmi Technology sued Xgimi Technology and Xgimi Vision for patent infringement on their Z6 series projector products.
