Last weekend, a Samsung crash bug was revealed in the industry, and the cause was actually a wallpaper.
There doesn't seem to be anything special about the wallpaper. It's just a natural landscape with thick clouds and dim light, and the tones are relatively dark.
At first, the bug was thought to be "exclusive" to Samsung phones, but in fact it is not. According to tests by foreign netizens, Google Pixel, Nokia, OnePlus, Xiaomi, etc. are all affected (Huawei Mate 20 Pro is tested to be safe).
After investigation, it was found that the cause of the BUG was that the wallpaper used the RGB color gamut standard, while Android 10 prioritized sRGB. Adobe RGB has a wider color gamut than sRGB, which caused Android 10 to be unable to convert and process, thus causing the crash.
Pixel users said that since Android 11 supports Adobe RGB, the upgraded models will not be affected by the BUG.
However, for some models, the solution may be painful. For example, Pixel cannot be restored even after restarting to safe mode. It can only be restored to factory mode, and all data will be lost. Therefore, I advise everyone not to try it out of curiosity.
