On May 26, the Redmi 10X series was released online. This conference launched Redmi 10X, Redmi's lowest-priced 5G mobile phone to date, which was the first to use the MediaTek Dimensity 820 chip.
Redmi Product Director Wang Teng pointed out at the press conference that the Dimensity 820 chip is the most powerful mid-to-high-end processor deeply customized by Redmi and MediaTek.
Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of Redmi brand, said that this is not the first time that Redmi and MTK have cooperated on customization. Last year, MediaTek G90T was a typical case. The two sides worked together to define and promote the product, which achieved great success worldwide. Dimensity 820 was born based on the success of this cooperation. I believe that for a long time, only Xiaomi Group will use this platform.
It is reported that MediaTek Dimensity 820 is built based on 7nm process technology. Officials say it integrates the world's top 5G modem, flagship multi-core CPU architecture and energy-efficient independent AI processor APU 3.0.
Specifically, MediaTek Dimensity 820 is composed of 4xCortex A76 2.6GHz + 4×Cortex A55 2.0GHz, the GPU is Mali-G57 MC5, and it supports 5G dual-carrier aggregation, 5G+5G dual-SIM dual-standby, SA, and NSA dual-mode 5G.
In terms of other specifications, the Redmi 10X uses a 6.57-inch Samsung AMOLED water drop screen, a 16-megapixel front camera, a rear 48-megapixel main camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle + 2-megapixel depth of field triple camera, and a battery capacity of 4520mAh.
Redmi 10X Pro uses a 6.57-inch Samsung AMOLED water drop screen, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a rear 48-megapixel main camera + 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle + 8-megapixel telephoto + 5-megapixel macro quad-camera. The telephoto end supports OIS optical image stabilization. The battery capacity is 4520mAh, supports 33W fast charging, and supports NFC.
