Yesterday, Lu Qianhao, head of ZTE's consumer terminal strategy department, wrote an article praising Axon M, saying:
"ZTE Axon M has pioneered and explored the new species of foldable smart terminals with "smaller size, larger field of view, more interactions and more complete scenarios" in terms of form, structure and craftsmanship, and has made in-depth innovations in interaction, application scenarios and APP adaptation. It has laid a solid foundation for the enrichment of the foldable mobile phone ecosystem and the maturity of the experience. In the future, 5G will connect everything, AI will make everything smart, and flexible everything will be integrated."
It is reported that the Axon M phone has two screens, which are divided into main and secondary screens. The thicker one is the main screen and the thinner one is the secondary screen. The two screens are combined to achieve multi-tasking similar to PC, and derive four different usage modes.
First, split-screen mode: users can open different applications on the two screens of ZTE Axon M at the same time and interact with each other in real time. For example, when working, you can use one screen to read news and another screen to participate in a conference call; when relaxing and entertaining, you can use one screen to watch sports events or live broadcasts.
Second, large-screen mode: The two screens are flipped 180 degrees to form a large high-definition screen. Users can operate it like a tablet, whether it is reading books, comics, shopping, watching TV series, or other applications suitable for all ages.
Third, mirror mode: fold and flip 60 degrees, two independent, back-to-back, but linked screens, providing a face-to-face sharing experience. Users can share the latest and hottest movies and videos with friends and family, or start the mirror mode and conduct PPT presentations, allowing two groups of people face to face to share the same content at the same time.
Fourth, classic mode: When folded, ZTE Axon M can be easily put into a pocket and supports the classic single-screen operation mode. The square body and the black double-sided screen design make ZTE Axon M like a fashionable hand companion. The power button on the side of the body is integrated into the fingerprint recognition area, which maintains its high appearance while making the power button more flexible.
In terms of configuration, both screens of ZTE Axon M are covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The body is 12.1 mm thick and weighs 230 grams. The power button has an integrated fingerprint recognition module. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 821 processor, supports 2TB storage expansion, has a built-in 3180 mAh battery, supports Quick Charge 3.0, and is pre-installed with a deeply customized operating system based on Android.
In terms of photography, ZTE Axon M provides a 20-megapixel camera with both front and rear shooting functions, supports photo taking and 4K ultra-high-definition video recording, especially for selfies, which can provide users with a clearer photo experience.
At that time, the ZTE Axon M was priced at 3,888 yuan for the 4GB+64GB version and 4,888 yuan for the 6GB+128GB version.
