On the evening of September 19, Huawei officially released its first smart screen product, Huawei Smart Screen, in Munich, Germany. The first 65-inch and 75-inch versions will be released, followed by 55-inch and 85-inch versions. Pre-sale will start at 0:00 on September 20.
Huawei Smart Screen is equipped with Hongmeng operating system, and its main attraction is the interaction between AI Smart Eye and mobile phone screen projection. Huawei defines it as the smart interaction center of the family. Huawei Smart Screen is the second smart large-screen product launched by Huawei after Honor Smart Screen.
First release: 65 and 75 inches
The design concept of Huawei Smart Screen is to magnify the functions of the mobile phone to the screen, so that the "screen" returns to the core of the family. Huawei Smart Screen's first product chose 65 and 75-inch large screens, and used the purest quantum dot light source as the backlight source, achieving full color gamut display with a color gamut coverage of up to 100% NTSC.
Huawei Smart Screen adopts a two-stage design. The thinnest part of the body is 6.9 mm. The thickness of the body is comparable to that of the Huawei P30 Pro mobile phone. This can be considered as a "thin" model for an LCD screen.
Huawei Smart Screen also has the essential interfaces of traditional large-screen products, such as HDMI, USB 3.0, video input, network input, SPDIF, wireless input interface, etc.
The most eye-catching thing in terms of appearance is Huawei's Sound bar. In addition, according to Huawei's official introduction, this Sound bar is made of 13,440 sound holes polished on aluminum alloy, which is not only beautiful but also perfectly adapted to the sound effect. In the middle of the speaker, Huawei Smart Screen has added a small art screen, which changes color according to different working states when it is turned on and playing music.
There is also a lifting AI camera on the top of the Huawei Smart Screen, which supports taking photos and video calls, etc., and it can also bring more AI capabilities to the Huawei Smart Screen.
AI camera multiple functions
Before the release of Huawei Smart Screen, Huawei repeatedly emphasized that this is a smart screen product, not a TV, but the future of TV. Not only does it have the functions of a mobile phone, but the screen projection interaction with Huawei phones is also very interesting.
AI Fitness
Unlike ordinary large-screen products, Huawei Smart Screen is equipped with a lifting AI camera, which rises when in use and lowers when not in use, which can well protect user privacy. Through this camera, Huawei Smart Screen can realize 1080P HD video calls, photos, AI fitness, and AI Kids.
This camera is equipped with Huawei's unique intelligent portrait locking technology, which allows the camera to intelligently recognize portraits without moving, so that the person is always displayed in the middle of the screen, so that even if you walk around the house, the other party can see you.
Currently, Huawei Smart Screen supports the big screen calling the big screen, the big screen calling the mobile phone, and the mobile phone calling the big screen. You can also directly say "Xiaoyi Xiaoyi, I want to video chat with XX" to the Huawei Smart Screen, and the big screen will automatically make a video call.
In addition to calls and photos, Huawei has deeply developed this camera. Huawei Smart Screen also supports AI Fitness and AI Kids through this camera. AI Fitness can be used by just saying "I want to exercise" by voice or opening it on the homepage.
When you use AI fitness, the camera will pop up automatically. Users can see their fitness posture on the screen and correct their posture by comparing it with that of a professional coach on the big screen.
The AI fitness function is a collaboration between Huawei and Beijing Sport University, which provides users with professional fitness courses by developing dozens of fitness videos.
Kids Mode
In order to allow children to better use the Huawei Smart Screen, Huawei launched the AI Kids mode. In addition to creating graded children's content, this lifting AI lens can intelligently identify the distance and posture of children.
In child mode, this camera will pop up automatically and issue a reminder when the child is viewing within 1.5 meters or sitting in an improper posture, allowing children to use the Huawei Smart Screen in a healthy way.

Huawei Smart Screen also has a new form of multi-screen interaction, and no matter how complicated the screen projection is, it may be as simple as a simple touch. Huawei Smart Screen can complete the screen projection of the mobile phone with just a light touch of the remote control.

For users who love playing games, Huawei, based on its own advantages in mobile phone research and development, has achieved a high frame rate of 60 frames per second through system bottom-level optimization.

Huawei Smart Screen uses an 8+1 audio unit solution with a total of 65W, realizing 6 independently controllable audio channels. According to the usage needs of different users, Huawei Smart Screen has also created an exclusive mode with three functions: directional sound, voice enhancement, and intelligent noise reduction.
The price of the smart screen is expected to be officially announced at a launch conference in Shanghai on the 26th.
