Nanjing Zhongke Sugon Research Institute's total output value is expected to exceed 20 billion yuan in the next five years

According to Nanjing Daily, in 2018, Nanjing's basic software and industrial software business revenue increased by 12% year-on-year, ranking first in the province.

In terms of basic software, large-scale general real-time databases, basic input and output systems, large-scale real-time operating systems and other products of key enterprises such as Ruizhong Data, Baiao Software and Yihui Information have been applied.

Baiao Software is the lead unit for the national "core high-tech" firmware project. According to reports, 80% of the BIOS of the self-controlled complete machine products used by national confidential units are provided by Baiao; it currently supports all domestic self-controlled CPUs, including Huawei HiSilicon, Feiteng from the National University of Defense Technology, Loongson from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shenwei from the Jiangnan Computing Institute, Zhaoxin from GigaDevice Innovation, and Haiguang under Sugon

Inspur, which is supported by Baiao Software, also has related layout in Nanjing.

In June 2017, Sugon invested 3 billion yuan to build Sugon Nanjing Research Institute and Eastern Industrial Base in Nanjing. In the next five years, the total output value of the project will exceed 20 billion yuan, and drive the total output value of the industrial ecosystem to exceed 45 billion yuan. At present, the first phase of the project has been officially completed and put into operation.

According to researchers, Inspur plans to set up no less than 20 advanced computing centers in Jiangsu within five years, and build an advanced computing network with domestic core equipment as the main body and independently developed operation and maintenance systems as the basis to serve the development of the province's industrial Internet, intelligent manufacturing, smart cities and other industries.
