On June 11, MarketWatch reported that Broadcom has signed a two-year supplier agreement with Apple, and is expected to seize the market share of RF component suppliers such as Qorvo and become Apple's largest supplier of RF components, or even the exclusive supplier.
According to a document submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Broadcom has signed a two-year supplier agreement with Apple. Broadcom has agreed to provide specific RF front-end components and modules for Apple's smartphones, tablets and smart watches, and will also maintain and allocate sufficient production capacity and resources to Apple.
It is worth noting that Apple said that as long as Broadcom can meet the quantity and quality commitments, it agrees to Broadcom to exclusively supply these components.
At present, Broadcom has not disclosed specific details about the impact of cooperation with Apple on its revenue.
