At the end of 2018, HTC announced that it would change its smartphone strategy for 2019, which included extending the life cycle of HTC U12+ and U12 Life, and also planned to focus on building flagship models and launching mid-range mobile phone models in 2019.
Recently, the running score information of a new HTC model appeared on GeekBench. The model of this new HTC device is HTC 2Q741, equipped with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor and 6GB of memory, and running the Android 9 Pie system. Judging from the configuration information, this is very likely a mid-range HTC mobile phone model that is about to be launched.
Coincidentally, a similar model appeared on Geekbench last month. The model number was 2Q7A100, but it was equipped with a Snapdragon 710 CPU and the same 6GB of memory. It is speculated that these two models are most likely the same phone, but with MediaTek and Snapdragon versions. Further news needs to wait for HTC to reveal, and I hope it will bring more surprises.
