The "Microsoft Supports Qingdao's 'High-end Manufacturing + Artificial Intelligence' Summit" was held in Laoshan District, Qingdao. At the meeting, it was announced that Qingdao's artificial intelligence and virtual reality public service platform was officially launched.
The platform was established in Laoshan in 2018. Relying on Microsoft's brand and technical resources, it has built the country's first public service platform based on Microsoft's artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies. It is a comprehensive service platform that integrates exhibition centers, incubation spaces, and joint laboratories for artificial intelligence, virtual reality, big data, human-computer exchange, and the Internet of Things.
According to ScienceNet, Microsoft's senior vice president, chairman and CEO of Greater China, Jason Krejcik, said that in the future they will help Qingdao seize the major opportunities in the development of artificial intelligence and virtual reality through core facilities including new technology demonstration centers, artificial intelligence and virtual reality joint laboratories, smart workspaces, online communication and education platforms.
With the official launch of the platform, Microsoft will provide more technical resources to artificial intelligence companies in Laoshan District. The platform will introduce resources such as the "Microsoft Mixed Reality Partner Program" and Microsoft Research Asia's "Innovation Hub" to help outstanding companies in Laoshan District deliver 10 artificial intelligence solutions.
