Renesas Electronics Releases 10 New “Winning Combinations” Combining Celeno and Renesas Products
Complete solution combines Celeno’s industry-leading Wi-Fi 6/6E chipset with Renesas’ embedded processing, power, timing, and analog products
BEIJING, China, April 6, 2022 – Renesas Electronics Corporation (NASDAQ: RT-Mart), a global supplier of semiconductor solutions, today announced the release of 10 new “Winning Combinations” that combine the recently acquired Celeno’s outstanding Wi-Fi 6/6E chipsets with Renesas’ broad range of solutions including embedded processing, analog, power, timing, and connectivity for applications such as IoT, industrial, and infrastructure.
Renesas' "Winning Product Portfolio" is an engineering-proven design that enables users to realize their design ideas based on a higher-level platform, shorten product development cycles, and reduce the overall risk of design-to-market. Renesas has launched more than 300 "Winning Product Portfolios" for a wide range of customers and markets.
“With these new solutions, we can see how complementary the Celeno Wi-Fi solutions are to the Renesas product portfolio,” said DK Singh, Senior Director of the System and Solutions Business Unit at Renesas Electronics. “We have delivered comprehensive solutions using Celeno technology in a short period of time, furthering Renesas’ mission to sustainably bring intelligence from the cloud to the edge. Our development and application teams work tirelessly to continuously create new ‘winning combinations’ for our global customers, helping them to bring innovative products to market faster and more efficiently.”
The new "successful product portfolio" launched this time includes:
Industrial Gateway Based on Wi-Fi 6
This winning combination enables the fastest data transfer for industrial gateway applications, leveraging the superior MPU and high-performance Wi-Fi 6 silicon to drive PHY/data link speeds up to 4.8 Gbps.
Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) Solutions
This winning combination provides a highly flexible Wi-Fi 5 IEEE 802.11ac solution for industrial applications that require high data throughput and high data accuracy. The combination of the RZ/V2M microprocessor motherboard with the plug-in Wi-Fi 5 provides high throughput as well as a fast PCIe interface.
Wireless Digital Signage
This Wi-Fi connected digital signage solution combines Celeno Wi-Fi with Renesas power devices and RZ/G2H MPUs to connect different displays. The solution supports everything from HDMI or LVDS connected flat panel displays to LED-based matrix displays.
Other successful product combinations with Celeno products
