Zoran Corporation (NASDAQ: ZRAN), a US-based provider of set-top box, DTV and multimedia device SoC solutions, will showcase its latest set-top box and DTV processor platforms for global consumer electronics manufacturers during the 2011 China International Broadcasting and Television Information Network (CCBN) Exhibition in Beijing from March 23 to 25. Zoran's booth at CCBN is Hall 1B, Booth B704.
Zoran specializes in providing standard definition and high definition set-top box platforms for Chinese cable TV and other global markets. Its clients include Cisco, Eagle, Evolution, Homecast, Konka, Samsung, Technisat, etc.
"We are showcasing our latest digital set-top box platforms at CCBN, targeting manufacturers supplying Chinese cable operators and exporting to Europe, India, Latin America and other markets," said Ram Ofir, senior vice president and general manager of Zoran's Home Entertainment Division. "We are particularly pleased that at CCBN we will be able to showcase our latest high-definition set-top box products, optimized for their respective markets, together with our customers, and provide local support to help our customers achieve rapid deployment."
Zoran's set-top box product platform supports major conditional access systems, including NDS, Tongfang, DVN, CTI and Sumavision. These receiving systems are designed for Chinese cable TV and global zapper and DTA set-top applications.
Zoran will exhibit the following new product platforms at 2011 CCBN:

• SupraXD® 272 DVB SD H.264 satellite set-top box reference platform, a highly integrated solution with DVBS demodulator supporting major conditional access systems
• SupraXD® 180 DVBS HD H.264 reference platform for global HD satellite set-top systems
• SupraXD® 180 DVBC HD H.264 reference platform supporting major conditional access systems
• SupraTV® 237 DVBC reference platform with Zoran's MT2082 chip tuner, optimized for standard definition Chinese cable TV zapper set-top products
Chip Tuner Product Platform
• MT2082 DVB-C chip tuner with integrated RF splitter for cable set-top boxes with multiple tuners
• Embedded MT2082 DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem module designed for China cable TV set-top boxes supporting Next Generation Broadband (NGB) networks
