[Zhejiang, Hangzhou] On August 21, the "2024 China Light Commercial Refrigeration Industry Annual Conference and China Compressor Industry Core Sharing Salon" kicked off in Hangzhou. GMCC, a system-level solution provider for core components of consumer appliances, made its debut and displayed products such as commercial variable-frequency refrigerator/freezer compressors with R290 environmentally friendly refrigerant and covering a variety of displacements, commercial fixed-speed refrigerator/freezer compressors, and car refrigerator compressors.
This year's Light Commercial Refrigeration Annual Conference was guided by the China Refrigeration Society, hosted by Industry Online and the National Commercial Refrigeration Equipment Quality Inspection and Testing Center, and co-hosted by the Light Commercial Refrigeration Industry Collaborative Innovation Center of the China Refrigeration Society. Huang Gang, R&D Director of GMCC Light Commercial Entity, shared his views on the theme of "Exploring Green and Efficient Light Commercial Compressors". Huang Gang said: "GMCC has clarified its R&D direction based on product requirements such as high efficiency, quietness, miniaturization, and intelligence, and has improved its product competitiveness. It has also met customer needs with variable frequency, high efficiency, and large displacement products to achieve market breakthroughs."
Take the Meizhi double-suction variable frequency reciprocating refrigerator compressor as an example. It is the first to adopt a sophisticated single-cylinder double-suction design to achieve two-stage suction of low and medium pressure. Compared with the traditional single-suction compressor, the second suction is added, which makes the compressor and system performance nonlinearly improved, and the total flow of the compressor can be increased by 20-30%. Under the same displacement conditions, the refrigerator refrigeration capacity has doubled, and the refrigerator COP (energy efficiency coefficient) has achieved a leapfrog breakthrough, with the highest energy efficiency increased by 5%~10%. Equipped with a new refrigerator refrigeration system, the evaporator efficiency is improved and the pressure loss is reduced. The power consumption of the refrigerator can be reduced by more than 10%, perfectly realizing energy saving and power saving.

Focusing on standards and markets, technologies and applications, GM has continuously made breakthroughs in green and efficient system technologies, commercial refrigerator standards, new materials/new refrigerant applications, etc., to provide customers with better overall solutions. As a system-level solution supplier for core components of consumer appliances, GM will dig deep into the pain points of refrigerator users, continuously optimize core components, and help terminal products achieve more possibilities in environmental protection, noise reduction, energy efficiency, reliability, etc., to create higher-end products.
