NVIDIA Omniverse, Isa, and Metropolis help Delta Electrons, Foxconn, Pegatron, and Wistron digitally build and operate factory digital twins.
NVIDIA announced that major electronics manufacturers are using NVIDIA technology to transform their factories into more autonomous facilities with a new reference workflow that combines NVIDIA Metropolis vision, NVIDIA Omniverse physically-based rendering and simulation, and NVIDIA Isaac AI development and deployment.
By using this workflow to build a digital twin to simulate different factory layouts in real time, manufacturers can optimize space, processes, and efficiency without expensive physical modifications.
“The era of AI in manufacturing is here,” said Deepu Talla, vice president of robotics and edge computing at NVIDIA. “The transformative impact of generative AI and digital twins is driving increasing levels of autonomy in factories. With NVIDIA Omniverse, Metropolis and Isaac, the ecosystem can accelerate adoption of autonomous technologies, helping factories operate more efficiently and reduce costs.”
