Its edge computing module can perform 40 trillion calculations per second and process 1.2 million images. Of course, to achieve the above capabilities, a powerful computing platform alone is not enough. Zhu Yuchen, senior application of MiR autonomous mobile robots in China, mentioned in his introduction that in order to give full play to the thinking ability of NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin platform, MiR equipped MiR1200 with multiple cameras and lidars, which can obtain massive data from the environment in real time. According to the on-site scene demonstration, users can feel the obvious improvement in the level of intelligence with the help of MiR1200, including excellent visual recognition capabilities, adaptability to changing pallet postures, and precise operating efficiency. For example, in terms of adapting to changing pallet postures, Zhu Yuchen mentioned during the explanation that in a changing industrial environment, the posture of the pallet may not always be regular, especially in the Chinese market, where various standard pallets are deployed, which puts high demands on the automatic identification of forklifts. MiR1200 has the ability to autonomously identify and locate pallets while moving, and can intelligently adjust its posture to adapt to the angle of the pallet.
