Welding technology is a very important process in the industrial manufacturing process. Generally speaking, welding technology is used wherever metal materials are processed. However, welding is also a "hard job". Manual welding requires welders to stand, lie down, squat or lie down for a long time, and also deal with sparks flying and hot working environment.
Automated welding operations with the help of simple and flexible collaborative robots can effectively solve the problems of shortage of skilled welders and difficulty in ensuring welding quality consistency, and help companies achieve cost reduction, efficiency improvement and production line upgrades. At present, Han's Robots' welding application solutions have been implemented in many industries with their advantages of ease of use, high efficiency and high precision.
Medium and thick plate welding in the shipbuilding industry: using model E03-Pro
In the field of shipbuilding, there is a relatively large demand for medium and thick plate welding, and customers specifically require that " the welding robot should be light and adaptable to the complex shipyard environment". The E03-Pro collaborative robot weighs 18KG and can be carried by one person to any location in the welding workshop. It is easy to operate and can quickly complete the automated welding settings through drag-and-drop teaching (with integrated end force control capability) and graphical programming. In addition, the E03-Pro has a repeat positioning accuracy of up to ±0.02mm and has weld visual tracking, arc tracking and other functions to ensure welding quality and meet welding accuracy requirements.
Bridge steel structure welding: Use model E05
The customers with Chinese characters in the bridge field have technical and integration capabilities. While paying attention to the welding quality of the robot, they also hope to carry out customized secondary development of the welding robot. The high degree of platform openness is one of the core advantages of Han's Robotics. We provide a variety of communication interfaces, SDK interfaces, and support the ROS system. Customers can carry out highly autonomous secondary development based on the Elfin series of collaborative robots, such as direct communication control with the host computer. In terms of the final welding effect, the welding robot built based on E05 has shown satisfactory efficiency, and the welding standardization and consistency have been affirmed.
Agricultural machinery welding: Use model E05-Pro
The customer is located in Henan and is mainly engaged in the production and manufacturing of agricultural machinery and equipment. Due to the poor working environment in the welding workshop, the welder is nearly 50 years old, but there is still no suitable young welder to take over. Therefore, the customer requires the welding robot to be extremely simple to operate, "older welders can also quickly master it." The E05-Pro currently used has integrated terminal force control capabilities, smoother teaching, and can be easily dragged with a drag force of less than 3N. It can be taught once and reused. Most importantly, the Elfin-Pro series has a protection level of IP66 and can work normally in a dusty welding workshop.
Steel structure welding in the construction industry: Use model E10L
The customer is mainly engaged in the prefabrication of construction steel and has a great demand for welding. In accordance with the unique needs of the customer, Han's Robotics installed the flexible E10L collaborative robot on an electric intelligent forklift to make its movement more efficient and convenient. The E10L arm span design fits the welding needs, with a maximum working range of 1300mm, a rated load of 8KG, and a range of motion of ±360° for each joint. The welding process is more flexible and can flexibly reach every corner of the workpiece to be welded in a spherical space with a radius of 1.3 meters.
Machine tool, laser cutting machine equipment parts welding: use model E10L-Pro, E10
The customer is a regional leader in the sheet metal processing field. They chose E10L-Pro and E10 collaborative robots mainly for CNC machine tools and flatbed laser cutting machine equipment parts lifting component welding. The customer focused on the trajectory accuracy of the collaborative robots. Han's Robotics uses more advanced motion control algorithms. Under full load and full speed, the repeat positioning accuracy can reach ±0.02mm, the absolute positioning accuracy can reach ±0.2mm, and the trajectory accuracy can reach ±0.5mm, meeting the welding application needs of most customers.
Hardware, 3C electronic laser welding applications: using Elfin series
Han's Robotics has a natural advantage in laser welding. The Han's collaborative robot, Han's laser, Han's laser oscillating welding head, Han's galvanometer system and Han's control system and other key components form a laser welding robot with a high degree of self-development, compatible with weld vision trackers and external axes, and supports PLC interactive control. It can meet the requirements of high-precision and complex trajectory welding and has been implemented in the fields of mechanical hardware, 3C electronics and new energy.
As a collaborative robot that is more suitable for welding applications, Han's Robotics has become a leader in the transition from manual welding to automatic welding with its advantages such as simple operation, flexible deployment, safety and stability, and self-developed core components. "We hope to work with more partners to jointly meet various complex welding needs of customers and jointly help the manufacturing industry accelerate automation upgrades."
