On October 26, 2023, Beijing time, Qiaotian Intelligent officially released the magnetic mold changing system MMC. The system realizes the rapid upper and lower molds of the molds through the cooperation of electromagnets and permanent magnets. It can not only save more than 90% of the mold changing time, but also help customers realize the automation and intelligent level of mold changing of injection molding machines, blow molding machines, stamping machines and other equipment. Qiaotian MMC magnetic mold changing system supports the mainstream bus protocols on the market and can meet the remote debugging and control of mobile phones/iPads and other devices. In terms of the internal system bus architecture, it can realize the information interaction of each module.
In terms of product capabilities, the Qiaotian MMC magnetic mold changing system adopts a more modular circular module shape, and the thickness of the magnetic plate is thinner, occupying a shorter stroke of the mold. At the same time, the system adopts a constant current magnetization method, which makes the magnetization efficiency higher and can effectively protect the overall circuit. In terms of magnetic attraction, the entire magnetic plate of Qiaotian MMC can reach 12.06kgf. At the same time, the measuring coil collects the magnetic flux change of the magnetic plate to measure the real adsorption force of the magnetic plate to ensure the monitoring of the working status of the magnetic plate. The magnetic plate is equipped with a distance sensor and a temperature sensor, and the magnetic plate establishes a communication relationship with the injection molding machine. Once there is any problem in the working process, the system can be shut down urgently through the safety interface of the injection molding machine or the interface of the magnetic mold changing system.
In terms of product safety and security, the honeycomb design of the Hashida MMC ensures optimal robustness, while the mold can be covered by the magnetic poles to the greatest extent. Since each electromagnetic module is equipped with a measuring coil, each point of the mold is monitored and its tiny movements can be detected. In addition, the system is equipped with multiple guarantees of mechanical protection. On the premise of ensuring safety, it is additionally equipped with a safety chain to ensure the stability and safety of the entire process.
Finally, considering the preventive maintenance of the product, the Qiaotian MMC magnetic mold changer also has the function of mold management. Each mold is numbered, and its clamping force, size, weight, excitation current and other parameters are recorded in the system, ensuring the convenience and safety of the system. During use, if there is any inconsistency, the system will promptly notify the operator so that he can perform preventive maintenance on the mold. In addition, during the mold change process, if the mold change command that does not follow the process control is rejected by the system, avoiding human error.
Taking the automotive parts customers as an example, replacing a 3,000-ton injection molding machine mold using the traditional manual mold changing method will require 3-4 workers and take half a day to complete, which includes the transportation and replacement of the injection molding machine mold, the debugging of the mold-related fluid temperature, and the precision installation, adaptation and debugging. However, the Qiaotian MMC magnetic mold changing system only requires 1 worker and completes the automated mold switching in about 30 minutes, greatly shortening the mold changing time and reducing possible safety hazards, thereby effectively ensuring the production efficiency and product consistency of the injection molding machine.
