On November 6, 2023, the domestically produced da Vinci Xi surgery was officially announced to be launched at the CIIE.
In 2006, the first imported da Vinci S surgical robot entered the General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. In early 2007, with the efforts of the medical team, China's first fully robotic non-open-chest cardiac surgery was successfully completed, marking a new starting point for minimally invasive surgery with surgical medical robots in China.
17 years later, more than 400,000 patients in China have undergone da Vinci robot surgeries and returned to their daily lives. This year, the locally produced fourth-generation da Vinci Xi surgical robot was approved by the National Medical Products Administration, and Intuitive Fosun successfully achieved the localization of the da Vinci surgical robot.
This year marks the sixth consecutive year that Intuitive Fosun has participated in the CIIE. With the CIIE as a new starting point, the domestically produced da Vinci Xi surgical robot officially met the public for the first time, conveying Intuitive Fosun's unchanging commitment and confidence in the Chinese market. Leaders of the Shanghai Drug Administration, Brian Miller, Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer of Intuitive Healthcare, Darla Hutton, Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Operations for Asia Pacific at Intuitive Healthcare, Neeta Mhatre, Vice President of Operations and Strategy for China at Intuitive Healthcare, Pan Xiaofeng, CEO of Intuitive Fosun, Peng Honglan, Chief Commercial Officer of Intuitive Fosun, and guests from all walks of life attended the launch ceremony of the domestically produced da Vinci Xi surgical system and witnessed the official launch of the domestically produced da Vinci Xi surgical robot.

The imported da Vinci Xi surgical robot was exhibited at the first CIIE. After its debut at the CIIE, the da Vinci Xi surgical robot was officially launched in China, realizing the transformation from "imported exhibit" to "imported commodity". This year, Intuitive Fosun's thoracic and abdominal endoscopic surgery (domestic da Vinci Xi surgical robot) successfully passed the approval of the National Medical Products Administration, and the da Vinci Xi surgical robot was officially localized and became a domestic "commodity".

The Ion bronchoscope control system was unveiled at the CIIE in 2019. In 2022, Ion passed the review of the National Medical Products Administration and entered the green channel for medical device innovation approval.

The da Vinci SP robot was first exhibited at the CIIE in 2020. This year, the da Vinci SP robot surgery has successively completed the first real-world urology, otolaryngology and gynecology research in Boao.
Along the way, Intuitive Fosun is not only a participant and witness of the CIIE, but also a beneficiary of the value of the CIIE platform. The Ion bronchoscope control system is a new type of arm-assisted bronchoscope operation control system. It can diagnose and treat peripheral lung nodules through the natural cavity. It helps to diagnose lung cancer early and improve the five-year survival rate of lung cancer patients.
The Ion bronchoscope control system is expected to be available on the market next year, serving more patients with the goal of greater precision, greater stability and fewer complications.
