ABB's first modular software platform OpFact and new IRB 1090 education will be launched globally at this year's CIIE
ABB's newly expanded GoFa collaborative robot and energy-saving large robot series debut new applications , demonstrating the unlimited possibilities of flexible automation
Through on-site naked-eye 3D technology demonstrations and online live broadcasts, ABB's comprehensive combination of robots will bring you an immersive Industrial Expo experience
Today, ABB Robotics took part in the China International Industrial Expo after a three-year absence with the theme of " Robots, infinite possibilities ". ABB Robotics launched a full range of innovative robotic automation products , solutions , software and services at a booth of nearly 800 square meters , including two new products: ABB's first modular software platform OptiFact and the new IRB 1090 industrial education robot .
Robotics is experiencing significant growth due to labor and skilled talent shortages, supply chain uncertainty, and a global need for more sustainable and efficient operations. In response, more and more companies are looking to
robotics and automation
to build enterprise resilience and
achieve faster, more efficient operations
.
The
new
OptiFact software
platform helps companies collect, manage and analyze data from factory equipment to optimize decision making and improve processes and performance. And our new
IRB 1090 industrial-grade educational robot
will help the next generation master more skills to better adapt to the new era of automation.
New modular software platform
OptiFact is ABB's first modular software platform that helps companies capture and build business value by collecting, managing and analyzing data from hundreds of factory devices. OptiFact can improve production efficiency by reducing downtime and optimize factory decision making by tracking K and avoiding major failures.
Industrial-grade educational robot
The IRB 1090 robot ( payload 3.5kg) is ABB 's newest product in the education field . The IRB 1090 supports fully customized education units, is powered by ABB's Omne, and is approved by STEM.org . Each robot comes with 100 free licenses for ABB's leading offline software RobotStudio . The launch of the IRB 1090 aims to bridge the skills gap in robotics education and lay the foundation for students' future work.
Immersive exhibition experience
In addition to these two new products, ABB will also showcase a wide range of products and applications in four exhibition areas, including the collaborative robot area , new application area , digital area and customer service area . The special feature of this year's Industrial Expo is that both online and offline audiences can get an immersive exhibition experience through naked-eye 3D technology and live broadcast .
Rich Robots and Digital Exhibits
A variety of robot exhibits, from professional applications in the automotive industry to robot applications in the entire production chain of logistics and machining, will be exhibited both on-site and online. In the digital zone, ABB will demonstrate leading functions such as Automatic Path Planning that help improve manufacturing efficiency through the offline simulation programming software RobotStudio.
Intimate service products
In the customer service area, visitors can learn more about ABB's robot remanufacturing services and modular service agreement portfolio, which are committed to improving resource efficiency, recycling materials and extending the service life of robots, thereby contributing to the circular economy and more sustainable production.
For nearly 30 years, ABB has been leading the development of robotics technology in China, helping customers adapt to the ever-changing market and succeed. Facing China, the world's largest and fastest-growing robotics market, ABB announced in December last year that its 67,000-square-meter robotics super factory in Shanghai was officially put into production, continuing its commitment to promoting smart manufacturing in China.
