Recently, the "Support Measures for Promoting the Development of Robot Industry in Foshan Beijiao Robot Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park" (hereinafter referred to as the "Support Measures") was officially released. The "Support Measures" will support robot-related enterprises in eight aspects, including project settlement, talents, and research and development, to expand and strengthen the robot industry and promote the construction of Beijiao Robot Valley into a robot industry highland with global influence. Among them, the highest reward for a single support is 200 million yuan.
The Support Measures will provide support to robot-related enterprises in eight aspects. The first is support for project settlement, providing land price concessions, rental and factory purchase subsidies, and fixed investment subsidies; the second is talent support, providing backbone talent subsidies, senior management talent subsidies, and living support guarantees; the third is R&D support, providing subsidies for taking the lead and innovation platform construction subsidies; the fourth is support for expansion and strengthening, providing economic contribution rewards, enterprise growth rewards and listing rewards to enterprises; the fifth is sales support, supporting enterprises to expand their scale and form clusters; the sixth is financial support, providing enterprises with risk investment and financing support, loan interest subsidies and support for state-owned capital investment; the seventh is support for special major projects in accordance with the "one enterprise, one policy" approach; the eighth is factor guarantee, giving preferential support in terms of energy and land use, environmental capacity guarantee, etc.
The objects of support under the Support Measures must be registered in the Beijiao Robot Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park (Beijiao Robot Innovation Industry Group) and its linkage development zone, and the main business scope belongs to robot-related enterprises in the fields of industrial robots , service robots and special robots . Foshan Beijiao Robot Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park and its linkage development zone include 1+7 areas.
1+7 area: 1 refers to Foshan Beijiao Robot Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park (Beijiao Robot Innovation Industry Cluster); 7 refers to the 7 industrial park linkage development zones, located in the three towns of Beijiao, Chencun and Lecong respectively.
It is understood that Foshan Beijiao Robot Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park plans three major areas with a total area of about 29,000 mu, Chencun Town Robot Industry Development Plan involves three major areas with a total area of about 5,787 mu, and Lecong Linkage Zone plans two major areas with a total area of about 12,000 mu. Among them, Beijiao New Town Comprehensive Vitality Zone is located in the middle of Beijiao Town, covering an area of 3,038 mu; the Industry-City Integration Development Zone is located on the west side of Beijiao Town, covering an area of 7,800 mu; and the Industrial Innovation Development Zone is located on the east side of Beijiao Town, covering an area of 18,900 mu.
At present, the Beijiao Robot Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park has gathered leading benchmark robot projects such as Midea Kuka, Boshilin Robot Valley, and Han's Robotics. Among them, Midea Kuka Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Park has become the second largest robot body production base in China and the largest in South China. In 2022, the park's industrial robot output will be nearly 26,000 units, which means that on average, one out of every 20 industrial robots produced in the country will come from here. The park has put into use an area of nearly 150,000 square meters, and has introduced 6 upstream and downstream suppliers of the industrial chain, covering the supply of key components such as reducers, servo motors , control cabinet PCB boards, casting machining, and wiring harness cables for industrial robots. After the completion of the second phase of the park, it will meet the overall production and manufacturing of 60,000 to 80,000 industrial robots in the park, of which more than 85% of the materials will be supplied within the park.
Since the planning and construction of Beijiao Robot Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park, Shunde has actively carried out district-town linkage, and continued to provide policy support, land preparation, investment promotion, urban supporting facilities and other work to help the industrial park seize development opportunities and lead the new track of the robotics industry.
In the next step, we will continue to improve the completion and production of urban supporting construction and landing projects. For example, Beijiao is promoting the construction of the Xihai Second Branch Industrial Zone and the road network on the south side of Boschilin Robotics; Meibi Road is scheduled to start construction in 2023, and will connect the headquarters of two Fortune 500 companies in the future; Midea Kuka plans to be fully completed in 2023, and Tuoye Intelligent will strive to be completed by the end of 2023.
With the gradual maturity of the supporting environment and industrial chain of the park and the attraction of leading projects, more and more robot companies choose to settle in Beijiao Robot Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park. On January 8, 2023, Trustworthy Huacheng Communication Technology Co., Ltd. from Shenzhen signed a contract to settle in Haichuang Dazu Robot Intelligent Manufacturing City. The introduction of the "Support Measures" will further enhance the attraction of Beijiao Robot Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park to robot industry resources, and a robot industry highland with global influence is accelerating its formation.
