OFweek Cup 2022 China Robot Industry Annual Awards (abbreviated as OFweek Robot Awards 2022) is jointly organized by OFweek, China's high-tech industry portal, and its authoritative robot professional media - OFweek Robot. The quasi-hyperbolic surface Robotic arm is the perfect 6-20KG robot 4|5|6-axis customized solution in 2022.

Development background: At present, most domestic and foreign 6-20kg robots use harmonic reducers for their 4\5\6 axes . The disadvantages are insufficient rigidity and low lifespan. Especially when the robot receives external impact, the harmonic reducer is easily damaged, causing the robot to shut down and need to be replaced. This brings great inconvenience to production. Japan uses quasi-hypoid gear reduction instead of harmonic reducer, which solves the problem of insufficient rigidity and easy damage of harmonic reducer very well, and has become a leader in robots around the world. The previous harmonic reducer has been discontinued. Influenced by the new technology of Japanese robots and seeing the many advantages of quasi-double gear reduction, domestic robot companies have also begun to conduct research on quasi-hypoid gears, but have not achieved technological breakthroughs. Many companies have carried out the development of quasi-double gear robotic arms, but have not been able to form industrialization. In 2022, Zhitong Technology conducted research on quasi-double gears and achieved important results. The quasi-double robotic arms developed by Zhitong Technology have provided products for Beijing Peitian Robot and Efort Robot, and signed an order with Efort Robot to provide 1,500 robotic arms within two years.

1) Product summary/key points (key points of its design application or innovation): Quasi-dual robotic arms refer to the 4/5/6 axes of the industrial robot , which can be connected to the main arm of the industrial robot through the RV reducer to form a complete industrial robot. See the figure below, the blue part is the quasi-dual robotic arm:

4/5/6-axis hypoid gear robot arm, independently developed by Zhitong Technology and patented product.

Its characteristics: high rigidity, impact resistance, long life, large hollow.

Zhitong Technology focuses on robot gear transmission and provides robot transmission solutions for robot body customers.

Compared with the traditional harmonic reducer structure, it has higher rigidity, longer life and larger hollow size. The robot assembled with this structural solution has compact mechanical structure, fast speed and high repeatability, and is suitable for welding, grinding and other robots. It is delivered as a whole with modular four, five and six axes, and is directly connected to the third joint of the robot arm, which is convenient and efficient.
