Recently, Thundercomm's joint venture subsidiary Thundersoft officially launched three new modules, TurboX C2210, C4210 and C5430, which can cover different levels of smart IoT devices in different application fields such as tablets, cameras, handheld terminals, etc., while helping enterprise users reduce the difficulty of smart device development, and promote technological breakthroughs and innovations in the oT industry.

TurboX C2210

The TurboX C2210 module is built on the QRB2210 platform and is equipped with an optimized . Its separate memory design enables flexible memory configuration, saving costs while optimizing system boot speed. In addition, the module supports 1080 P@30FPS codec, and its life cycle can last until 2028. It can bring high-performance, low-power solutions to smart devices such as entry-level robots, electric two-wheelers, central control, smart cameras and handheld terminals.

TurboX C4210

The second module, TurboX C4210, is built on the Qualcomm QRB4210 platform. The module has three image signal processors (ISPs) that support advanced graphics and image processing, and can be used for post-AI processing such as vision and imaging through dedicated modules. The module can be widely used in the design of products such as robots, smart cameras, and smart retail terminals, as well as solutions that require high-performance multimedia processing.

TurboX C5430

The third module, TurboX C5430, is based on Qualcomm's 6nm processor QCS5430, and features high computing power, low power consumption, and good connectivity. The module supports 4K@30FPS video encoding and decoding, 6E, and connectivity, and has up to 4 camera interfaces (MI) and PCIe and other rich peripheral interfaces. The C5430 smart module is a smart module that can be used for high-performance devices such as handheld devices, service robots, and edge computing boxes.

Zhang Zhimin, Product Marketing Director of Thundercomm, said: "With the continuous development of science and technology, the robotics industry has ushered in an unprecedented period of opportunity. Today, robots have gradually penetrated into all aspects of people's lives. The help that robots have provided to humans has far exceeded our expectations. The C2210 and C4210 modules released by Thundercomm will help robots unleash their potential in more fields, lower the threshold for the research and development of intelligent robot products, and enhance product competitiveness. In addition, Thundercomm not only provides products such as modules and development kits, but also provides solutions such as robot brain platforms and software, thereby helping customers build future-oriented robot products faster and more economically."

Dev Singh, vice president of business development at Qualcomm Technologies, said: "First of all, congratulations to Thundercomm for successfully launching a number of industry-leading module products. In addition, Qualcomm has created the Robocs RB1 and RB2 development kits based on the TurboX C2210 and C4210 products launched this time. These two development kits have more complete robot functions, including pre-integration, cameras and AI SDK from Qualcomm Robotics RB1 and RB2. It will enable developers to more easily develop prototypes of daily robot applications, thereby contributing to the continuous evolution of the IoT ecosystem."

Currently, Qualcomm Robotics RB1 and RB2 development kits and TurboX C2210, C4210, and C5430 modules are available.
