According to CNMO, foreign media reports said that in terms of robot density, China is not only at the forefront of the world, but also exceeds the United States.

Recently, the US media published an article stating that China's huge investment in industrial robots has made the country's robot density rank among the highest in the world, surpassing the United States for the first time. This conclusion comes from the "World Robotics 2022" report released by the International Federation of Robotics.
The president of the International Federation of Robotics believes that robot density is a key indicator for measuring the adoption of automation in the global manufacturing industry. At present, the new average value of robot density in the global manufacturing industry has soared to 141 robots per 10,000 employees, which is more than twice the number six years ago. He also said that the rapid growth of robot density in China shows the scale of investment so far, but there is still a lot of room for improving automation.
CNMO learned that the top five countries with the highest degree of automation in the global manufacturing industry in 2021 are: South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Germany and China, and the United States dropped from 7th to 9th. In terms of robot density, South Korea is far ahead. In 2021, the country set a new high of 1,000 industrial robots per 10,000 employees, becoming the world's number one, more than three times that of China (322 units), and the United States has 274 units.
