On July 25, the second phase of Estun Robot Intelligent Industrial Park officially started construction. It is reported that the second phase planning project of Estun Robot Intelligent Industrial Park is an effective support for Estun's development strategy. It will be completed and put into operation in 2023, and the production capacity will reach 50,000 sets/year.

Wu Kan, general manager of Estun Automation, said in his speech: "The Robot Intelligent Industrial Park located on the bank of Jiulong Lake is the headquarters of Estun Automation. It serves as a research and development center and is also Estun's main production and manufacturing base. It has been listed as one of the major industrial projects by Nanjing City."

"Since the first phase of the plant was put into production in early 2017, it has effectively promoted the rapid development of Estun's business. In the context of the severe COVID-19 pandemic and economic turmoil around the world, Estun's core business modules have bucked the trend, its competitive advantages have continued to increase, and its main business has developed rapidly. All this is inseparable from the joint efforts of every Estun person, and is also inseparable from the strong support of our partners. The second phase of the plant, which is about to start construction, is an important milestone in Estun's new development process and will effectively help Estun achieve its long-term strategic goals."

In general, Estun’s recent expansion plans are aimed at meeting Estun’s rapid growth.

On the investor platform, Estun said that orders in the second quarter of 2022 are increasing month by month. By June, orders have returned to normal levels. Affected by the epidemic, the growth of orders for core components has slowed down. But at the same time, orders for industrial robots still maintain a high growth rate. At the same time, Estun said that the business demand for photovoltaics and lithium batteries was strong in the first half of this year, and this growth trend will continue into the second half of the year .

Earlier, an Estun official revealed that Estun's robot shipment target for 2022 is 16,000-18,000 units.

However, in 2022, Estun’s expansion plan is not limited to the Estun Robot Intelligent Industrial Park Phase II project.

On June 13, Estun announced that based on future market demand and the company's business development plan, the company plans to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary and use its own or self-raised funds to purchase land in Gaochun District, Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province to invest in the construction of Gaochun Industrial Project. The project investment amount is expected to be 1.2 billion yuan , of which 700 million yuan will be invested in fixed assets, including land, factory buildings, administrative R&D buildings, decoration, equipment, etc. The construction content is the R&D, production and manufacturing of automation and intelligent manufacturing equipment and corresponding supporting facilities.

On the morning of May 10, the Estun (Hubei) Industrial Robot Complete Intelligent Manufacturing Production Line Project in Estun Jingmen High-tech Zone started construction . The project will build an industrial robot intelligent manufacturing production line with an annual output of 500 units (sets), and will also build supporting facilities such as a product display experience center and a research and development center.

Estun officially entered the robotics field in 2010 with the launch of the first ER series robot based on autonomous motion control core components; entered the capital market in 2015; acquired Germany's CLOOS in 2019, and its international layout began to emerge; in 2021, it launched a series of new products such as high-speed stamping robots, arc welding robots, heavy-load SCARA robots, and its product line has "blossomed" in all aspects. At the same time, the annual industrial robot shipments in 2021 exceeded 10,000 units. Estun has been working in the robotics field for twelve years.

In 2022, the 13th year of its deep involvement in the robotics industry, Estun will continue to focus on rapid expansion and adopt a "general + segmented" strategy, targeting emerging industries such as lithium batteries and photovoltaics, as well as welding applications. In the future, Estun will vigorously promote the deep integration of the industrial Internet and industrial robots, and continue to promote the application of robots in segmented industries.

It is worth mentioning that when receiving the investigation by the agency, Estun stated that the company is conducting program reviews, technical exchanges and business negotiations with several automobile manufacturers, striving to realize the application of Estun's industrial robots in vehicle manufacturers by 2022.
