There are several situations when a single-phase ordinary DC speed regulator is adapted to a DC motor:
1. The common Z2 DC motors in China are basically designed according to the former Soviet Union, that is, the two sets of armature coils are connected in series to DC220V, the first set of field coils is DC220V, and the normal speed is 1500 rpm;
2. After the opening up, the new generation of permanent magnet motors have been widely used and promoted. Because of their small size, light weight, and one less DC power supply, they are more convenient to use;
3. When using domestic permanent magnet motors, pay attention to some basic matters: Try not to use ferrite motors. Because of their weak magnetism, the armature current is very large, and the relationship is not very large for low power, but the current of high power may be too large and affect the DC drive;
4. The magnetic field of the Z2 motor is often damaged. In fact, it is not an open circuit, but the current is very small. In this way, the armature current is very large, and the speed cannot be increased. The motor is weak and generates a lot of heat. After a long time, the motor will burn out;
5. The commutator of the DC motor must be smooth, the groove must be deep, and the carbon brush must be good. Otherwise, if there is too much carbon powder, it is easy to spark and cause a short circuit, which can easily burn the thyristor. Generally, analog DC speed regulation does not have a short circuit protection function. Therefore, the DC motor must be cleaned and maintained frequently;
6. ZKS DC speed regulators basically take these factors into consideration when they are designed. Therefore, if there is no hard damage, they can be used for ten to eight years without any problems. Many of the earliest ones are still in use today.
