The advantages of rare earth permanent magnet motors in energy saving are as follows:
In recent years, the permanent magnet motor has been the most popular in the motor industry, and its popularity has been increasing. According to the editor's analysis, the reason why permanent magnet motors have received so much attention is inseparable from the strong support of relevant national policies. High-efficiency and ultra-high-efficiency motor products represented by high-efficiency permanent magnet motors can be quickly popularized, helping to save energy and reduce emissions, and retain green mountains and clear waters. Energy conservation and environmental protection must be the future development trend, especially in the motor industry. The energy-saving characteristics of permanent magnet motors show its advantages, and its energy-saving rate can be higher than 20%. The advantages of rare earth permanent magnet motors in energy saving are as follows:
Six energy-saving advantages of rare earth permanent magnet motors
1. Permanent magnet motors can save 20-40% energy compared to ordinary motors, and the energy saving rate varies depending on the specific equipment working conditions.
2. Permanent magnet synchronous motors reach level one energy efficiency, with an energy efficiency of over 95%; ordinary three-phase asynchronous motors have level three energy efficiency, with an energy efficiency of only about 90%.
3. The rotor of the permanent magnet synchronous motor has rare earth permanent magnet steel, which does not require the stator to provide induced electricity and has less loss than ordinary motors;
4. The stator lead wire of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is connected in star (Y) connection, which can keep the power constant and the current small; most ordinary motors use △ connection;
5. During the operation of permanent magnet synchronous motor, the energy efficiency value can remain unchanged when the load changes. The energy efficiency value of ordinary asynchronous motor will change when the load changes. The energy efficiency value of ordinary asynchronous motor remains unchanged when the load reaches three quarters, and its energy efficiency value will drop sharply when the load is less than 70%.
6. The no-load current of the permanent magnet synchronous motor is small, only reaching one tenth of the rated current, while the current of the ordinary asynchronous motor reaches one third when no-load.
Three major components of rare earth permanent magnet motor
1. Rare earth permanent magnet motors use high-performance permanent magnets, eliminating the current excitation of the motor stator or rotor, thus eliminating the copper loss (winding heating loss) in this part;
2. It adopts brushless structure and mechanical loss without carbon brush structure. However, brushless motor realizes commutation through electronic commutation structure. There is loss of some electronic components here. Compared with the mechanical loss, the loss value is smaller. Therefore, the loss of commutation part is smaller than that of brush motor.
3. The use of high-performance rare earth permanent magnets can make the motor smaller at the same rated power and rated speed, saving the motor silicon steel sheet and reducing some iron losses. Low-power motors using rare earth permanent magnet motors can achieve an efficiency of nearly 90%, while general motors are only about 75%.
