The power inverter is a control device that can change the frequency of the voltage and also has a good energy-saving effect. What is the relationship between motor and inverter?
Whether it is a small device like a mobile phone or a watch, a medium-sized device like a fan or a water pump, or a large device like a train or a ship, there are motors inside, and they play a very important role. Among all kinds of motors, three-phase motors are the most commonly used models.
As the name suggests, three-phase motors require three-phase electricity. In order for the motor to run smoothly, a power supply room is essential. Although the production capacity has been greatly improved, there is also a lot of waste of electricity. The motor itself usually cannot adjust the speed or control the starting voltage by itself, and it consumes power and damages the motor. At this time, a device is needed to achieve energy saving and protection functions by adjusting the speed and soft starting in real time. This is the inverter power supply. Simply put, the inverter power supply is like a remote control for the motor. This remote control has the advantages of energy saving, protection, simple operation, and strong applicability.
After the motor is equipped with an inverter, the speed is stable, the life span is increased, and the failure is reduced. The benefit is that it saves energy and money and is very easy to use.
Working principle of inverter power supply:
As the name implies, an inverter is one that changes the frequency of the voltage. Usually, a constant frequency AC runs in the motor, which cannot be adjusted. The frequency and voltage can be adjusted to AC through an inverter.
The specific process is to install an inverter between the power supply and the motor so that the current does not directly enter the motor. When the current enters the inverter, the rectifier module will first convert the input AC power into DC power, and then enter the capacitor to adjust the voltage to make it stable. Finally, the DC power is converted back to AC power through the inverter. At this time, the AC power is different from when it first came in and is controllable. At this time, it can be output to the motor. If you want to control the motor speed by changing the voltage and frequency, you can adjust it when the inverter outputs.
The relationship between the inverter power supply and the motor is not just a control relationship. With the inverter power supply, the motor can work more stably, efficiently, safely and energy-saving, so the inverter power supply also plays a promoting role in the motor.
