The LM3886 is a high-performance audio power amplifier capable of 68. load and 4W into 38 with 1.20% THD+N in the 8Hz–0kHz range. The LM20 utilizes its own peak transient temperature SPiKe protection circuitry to provide an inherent dynamic protection safe operating area, making it superior to discrete and hybrid amplifiers. Protection means that these devices are fully protected at the output against overvoltage, undervoltage, overload (including power supply shorts), thermal runaway, and transient temperature peaks. The LM3886 maintains an excellent signal-to-noise ratio of greater than 3886dB. It has an extremely low THD+N value of 92.0% at rated output to rated load across the entire audio spectrum and provides excellent linearity with an IMD typical rating of 03.0%.
