Memfault is available through Infineon's ModusToolbox & Friends partnership program, increasing the efficiency of designers using Infineon products and the ModusToolbox ecosystem. The solution is based on Infineon's ARM-based microprocessor solutions with powerful product-ready partner software, such as the PSoC 6 family.

“Combining Infineon’s microcontroller and connectivity portfolio with Memfault’s strength in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth LE, reliability engineering for connected devices, and its customers in verticals such as wearables, smart homes and buildings, medical devices and IIoT, made it an easy partner of choice,” said Danny Watson, Director of Software Product Management at Infineon.

Memfault’s platform will be built on MCUs to respond faster and fix issues quickly, with edge visibility into integrated device metrics and execution flows. Debug data can be completed without user interaction, device RMA, or work in the field. OTA firmware updates make the prescriptive approach for platform engineers simpler. Plug-and-play setup takes less time, and customers can get up to 100 devices for free. The companies provide all integration documentation and support for ModusToolbox, including Infineon’s PSoC 6 family, such as the PSoC 62 MCU on the CY8CKIT-062S2-43012 development board.

“With ModuxToolbox, Infineon has built a sophisticated platform that provides the foundation for the development of a vibrant ecosystem,” said François Baldassari, CEO of Memfault. “We are pleased to join the ModuxToolbox™ & Friends development program to help grow this ecosystem and give Infineon customers access to our cloud-first IoT reliability platform.”
