In recent years, from policy promotion to local practice, from industry layout to corporate research and development, all parties have actively explored and promoted the new energy vehicle industry to move towards high-quality development.
The core technology of new energy vehicles is the "three electricity", including electric drive, battery, and electronic control. At present, there are still technical difficulties in electric drive and electronic control, but through the continuous efforts of scientific researchers, they have been continuously improved and developed. The most difficult problem among the "three electricity" is still the battery problem. The batteries generally recognized by people include lithium iron phosphate, lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganese oxide, ternary, high nickel ternary, etc. Limited by the level of battery technology and charging technology, there are constraints such as energy density, cruising range, charging speed, and the construction of charging stations. At present, hybrid power has reached the market level. Almost every automobile manufacturer has a corresponding model or is in the research and development stage. Pure electric vehicles are the ultimate direction.
The large-scale and overspeed development of the new energy vehicle industry has put forward higher requirements for the overall development of the industrial chain. Due to the long automotive industry chain and large output value, problems in every link of the industrial chain will affect the rapidly rising new energy vehicle industry. Issues such as safety system construction, raw material price increases, and power battery recycling have a "dominant impact". Quickly solving every problem in the industrial chain, accelerating strategic layout, and breaking through industrial constraints have become the contemporary proposition for the new energy vehicle industry to develop and rise at the same time.
In the era of fuel vehicles, the infrastructure only consisted of gas stations and refueling stations. The development of automobile electrification will bring about major changes in the future energy infrastructure. Charging, battery replacement, fast charging, slow charging, mobile battery charging, hydrogenation, etc. will constitute a fusion of infrastructure. This will be a major highlight of the future development of electrification and a hot spot for industry investment. After new energy vehicles enter the real marketization stage, they will drive a large number of business models to innovate rapidly, such as the integrated photovoltaic storage and charging model, the battery replacement model, and the battery bank model.
In general, the world today is undergoing a major change that has not been seen in a century. A new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is developing in depth. Electrification, intelligence, and networking are accelerating the reconstruction of the century-old automobile industry, becoming a new opportunity for the development of my country's automobile industry. In 2021, my country's automobile market made a good start for the "14th Five-Year Plan" automobile industry and successfully opened up a new situation of high-quality development. In 2022, under the guidance of government policies and the joint efforts of automobile industry companies, the automobile industry will surely have great potential.
For new energy vehicles, it is crucial to improve the safety level of power batteries. Therefore, the Opinion proposes that enterprises should actively carry out design collaboration with power battery suppliers, continuously optimize the safety matching of the vehicle and power batteries and thermal management strategies, clarify the safety boundaries of power battery use, and improve the safety protection capabilities of power batteries in collision, vibration, extrusion, immersion, abnormal charging and discharging, etc.; encourage enterprises to study and apply real-time monitoring and early warning devices for thermal runaway and early suppression and fire extinguishing measures.
New energy vehicles are experiencing a price increase. When asked why prices have increased, the rising cost of power batteries is one of the main reasons. Reporters found that due to factors such as supply and demand mismatch, power battery raw materials including lithium carbonate, nickel, cobalt, and graphite have all risen, and some power battery companies are under cost pressure, which has been transmitted to the new energy vehicle consumer end. The industry predicts that the supply of raw materials will continue to be tight this year, and under the regulation of the competent authorities, the prices of some raw materials may gradually return to normal.
Promote the innovative development of new energy vehicles and green energy integration technologies of power systems; encourage automobile companies to develop new energy vehicles with rich vehicle-grid interactive functions, promote the integration and connection of people, vehicles, charging piles, networks, clouds and other links, support operating companies to increase the construction of two-way charging piles, and realize the promotion of industrial integration and development through scientific and technological innovation.
