Junhwan Kim, CEO of StradVision, said: “We are delighted to have ZF as our strategic investor. Together with ZF, we will accelerate the autonomous driving market with leading perception solutions.”

“Collaborating with StradVision will significantly expand our autonomous driving perception and sensor fusion capabilities,” said Marc Bolitho, Head of Engineering, Electronics and ADAS at ZF Friedrichshafen. “Combined with our sensors, middleware platform and high-performance computing solutions, StradVision’s visual perception software expertise can provide a key component for our shuttle, commercial and light vehicle environmental sensor fusion optimized for centralized electrical architectures.”

Vehicle Environment Safety Observation
StradVision's SVNet software enables vehicles to accurately detect and identify objects such as other vehicles, lanes, pedestrians, animals, free space, traffic signs and lights, even in adverse weather conditions or low light conditions.
The software relies on deep learning-based perception algorithms, requires relatively little memory and has low power consumption. In addition, the software supports multiple hardware platforms and can also be customized and optimized for other hardware systems. StradVision software is currently used for high-volume models of ADAS and autonomous vehicles.

ZF: Autonomous driving system supplier
Autonomous driving and vehicle software are strategic technologies in ZF's product portfolio. For the automotive and mobile travel sectors, ZF's A system solutions include high-performance computers (such as ZF ProAI), automotive software that supports ADAS and AD functions, sensors such as cameras, radars and lidars, and intelligent actuators.
