Santa Clara, Calif., October 11, 2011 – Tensilica today announced that the NatureDSP math library from IntegrIT, a leading global provider of DSP (digital signal processing) software solutions, is now available for system-on-chip (SOC) designs for the Tensilica ConnX BBE16 baseband DSP.
IntegrIT NatureDSP's mathematical library significantly simplifies the software development process for users to port signal processing algorithms to ConnX BBE16 DSP. IntegrIT Nature DSP Signal+ is a collection of signal processing subroutines that include a variety of typical digital signal processing functions: highly optimized filtering, FFT, matrix, trigonometric functions and other mathematical operations.
"Tensilica's ConnX BBE16 DSP has been selected by several major communications chip vendors," said Dmitry Paroshin, head of partnerships at IntergIT. "By using the NatureDSP math library, developers can access a variety of high-performance math functions, which will significantly improve their development efficiency. At the same time, by applying the math library's optimized algorithms, customers can also enjoy the maximum computing power of the BBE16 DSP in their application software."
"IntegrIT has an outstanding track record of delivering high-quality DSP math libraries," said Eric Dewannain, vice president and general manager of Tensilica's Baseband Business Unit. "This math library will significantly accelerate software development time for our mutual customers."
