From the perspective of cockpit domain control penetration rates of various power types, the penetration rate of cockpit domain control in the field of hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) has declined to 9%, reflecting the relative lag of this field in the application of this technology. Fuel-electric vehicles (ICE) and new energy vehicles (NEV) show completely different growth trends. From the perspective of the overall market share of cockpit domain control suppliers, in the first half of 2023, the top three cockpit domain control manufacturers, Pegatron/Quanta (Tesla), Desay SV, and Visteon, have a combined market share of more than 50%. However, in the first half of 2024, this market structure and share have undergone major adjustments. Specifically, Desay SV topped the list with a market share of more than 15%, becoming the new market leader, and Pegatron/Quanta (Tesla) market share fell to 12.1%, ranking second. Ecarx has rapidly risen with a market share of 8.8%, ranking third, and the combined market share of the top three manufacturers has been squeezed and fallen to 30%. Domestic manufacturers such as Huayang General and Boya have strong growth momentum, and are among the top 10 in the cockpit domain control supplier market share rankings.
In the current cockpit domain control chip market, a notable phenomenon is that foreign brands still occupy a dominant position. The TOP3 brands Qualcomm, AMD and Renesas have a combined market share of more than 80%, building a solid market barrier.
