On August 11, Xia Yiping, CEO of Jiyue, revealed during a live broadcast of his visit to the Ningde Times Lighthouse Factory that the charging speed of the Jiyue 07, which is about to be launched, may reach a new high in the industry, with a maximum charging speed of 600km in 10 minutes and 1 kilometer in 1 second.
Xia Yiping also said that the Jiyue 07 is equipped with CATL Kirin batteries, with a defect rate of only one billionth. In addition to the water cooling plate, the battery also has a special flow channel design. When a single battery cell has thermal runaway, it will not spread or be transmitted to other battery cells.
They conducted on-site tests and found that the battery separators were made of aviation materials that could withstand the 1000°C high-temperature flamethrower. Even though the back of the insulation board had been burned red, it could still be touched by hand without any high-temperature conduction.
In the charging test under ultra-high temperature conditions, the vehicle can be charged to 80% in 13 minutes, which is a very fast charging speed.
It is reported that Jiyue 07 is Jiyue's new C-class pure electric sedan. The exterior adopts the "AI aesthetics" design concept. The entire car is a purely original Chinese design and has a very good appearance.
The length, width and height are 4963mm/1989mm/1475mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3013mm. The half-width steering wheel used in the car has a development cost of up to 20 million yuan. In addition to its good grip, it does not block the driver's line of sight.
At present, Jiyue 07 has not yet been launched on the market. Xia Yiping revealed that the car will be officially launched in one month, and the specific price information will be announced at that time.
