According to news on March 1, RoboSense recently officially released the first car-grade solid-state lidar L4 perception fusion solution RS-Fusion-P6 (referred to as P6). P6 is equipped with M series automotive-grade solid-state lidar, equipped with self-developed point cloud perception software Perception, and is equipped with a variety of sensors, computing units and other hardware.
According to Sagitar Juchuang, P6 can realize environmental sensing functions such as road sign detection, dynamic and static obstacle detection, drivable area detection, and multi-radar perception fusion, and is supported by "one-stop" services such as installation, deployment, calibration, and debugging. , empowering autonomous driving projects to achieve “point-to-point” full-scenario environmental awareness.
It is understood that the P6 comes standard with 4 M-series car-grade solid-state laser radars, which can achieve 360° horizontal range intelligent sensing with a sensing radius of 200 meters. The M series lidar adopts a chip-based two-dimensional MEMS scanning solution and modular optical module design. The product structure is highly integrated and has better stability and reliability. The M series lidar can dynamically switch scanning methods and change scanning patterns in different scenarios such as highways and urban areas, helping autonomous driving solutions improve scenario-based perception capabilities.
According to official data, the current M-series lidar has achieved annual production capacity planning of more than 1 million units and has been delivered to more than 10 car company customers. It has also won designated cooperation with nearly 20 car companies such as BYD, GAC Aian, FAW Hongqi, Chery, Great Wall, Xpeng, and Jikrypton, and the expected order volume exceeds 10 million units.
In terms of software, P6 is equipped with Perception, a real-time point cloud sensing software developed by Sagitar Juchuang, which can provide real-time point cloud sensing results and has rich and complete sensing functions. Whether it is 4 or more M-series lidars, Perception can process raw perception data with high quality and efficiency.
It is reported that under the management of Perception, P6 can clearly identify various types of road signs such as lane lines and curbs, and output five data items such as ID, position, curvature, area, and confidence of road signs to the autonomous driving system. At the same time, P6 can also sense dynamic and static obstacles such as pedestrians, cyclists, large vehicles, small vehicles, trailers, cones, stone piers, etc. in real time, and output the ID, type, location, size, speed, acceleration, etc. of each obstacle. There are 13 categories of sensory information including movement direction, etc., with a total of 52 detailed data items.
