Huawei's patent application for smart car black box is approved

On May 11, the patent for "methods, devices and equipment for managing black box data in smart driving cars" applied by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. was authorized.

The abstract shows that the application discloses a method for managing black box data in an intelligent driving car. The black box device first obtains black box data according to a black box triggering event, and then evaluates the storage level of the black box data according to the event type and data type of the black box triggering event; and then stores the black box data according to the storage level and preset rules, so as to meet the recording and storage method of black box data in an intelligent driving car, improve the effectiveness of the black box data in the intelligent driving car and the safety of the entire intelligent driving car.

On May 7, at the launch of the Alpha S Huawei HI version, Richard Yu, Huawei's executive director, CEO of the Terminal BG, and CEO of the Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, said that Huawei's autonomous driving hardware architecture is the strongest, but the software still needs to be polished and upgraded. The capabilities may not be strong enough at the beginning, but they will become stronger and stronger in the future.
