On December 2, SERES officially launched its new high-end brand AITO and the first mid-size SUV equipped with Huawei’s HarmonyOS smart cockpit.
AITO is a brand jointly created by Huawei and Celes, based on smart cars. Its name comes from the abbreviation of Adding Intelligence to Auto.
AITO's core competitiveness can be summarized as: 1 smart ecosystem, 1 boutique strategy, 2 major industry integrations and 4 unique advantages. 1 smart ecosystem refers to Huawei's Hongmeng ecosystem, which enables cars to be more intelligent. 1 boutique strategy refers to the five major platforms of Celes' boutique R&D, boutique manufacturing, boutique quality, boutique supply chain and boutique service. 2 major industry integrations refer to the cooperation between Celes and Huawei, new energy vehicle companies and technology companies. The 4 unique advantages are wisdom, technology, quality and safety.
The AITO brand was also released together with SERES's pure electric drive extended-range platform DE-i. According to the brand plan, the first model of the AITO brand is built on SERES's pure electric drive extended-range platform DE-i, equipped with Huawei's HarmonyOS smart cockpit, and officially released on December 23. The model will adopt extended-range technology, with a fuel consumption of 3.2kWh/L per 100 kilometers, a cruising range of more than 1,000km, and an acceleration of 0-100 kilometers in 4 seconds.
The remaining two products are a medium-sized pure electric SUV and a medium-to-large SUV, both of which will be launched by 2023 at the latest.
According to SERES’ plan, the AITO brand will become one of the top three new energy vehicle brands in the world in the next five years.
