Precisely will have access to TomTom's highly accurate map information and its historical and real-time traffic data, which is sourced from more than 600 million connected devices. Maps and traffic data can also help financial services organizations avoid fraud, enable insurers to better manage location risk, and improve targeted retail marketing campaigns by providing better customer insights.
“Accurate, comprehensive mapping information and real-time, dynamic traffic data provide the location intelligence necessary to make more confident decisions. As a result, customers can create a safer, cleaner and more connected world,” said Dan Adams, SVP of Data and Operations at Precisely. “TomTom’s industry-leading suite of global mapping and traffic datasets is built with the reliability, consistency and scale to enrich any location intelligence platform or application.”
In addition to leveraging TomTom data, Precisely will also share market trends and location insights with TomTom and provide key information to continuously enrich TomTom's product range. Precisely will also provide feedback on TomTom's real-time map data (such as road changes) to benefit all TomTom customers.
“Precisely’s continued partnership with TomTom is a testament to our ability to collaborate, learn and evolve,” said Anders Truelsen, Managing Director, TomTom Enterprise. “We are proud to be working closely with Precisely, a global leader that enables customers to achieve data integrity through maximum accuracy, consistency and contextual data.”
