According to domestic media reports, an industry insider recently revealed that non-all-solid-state power batteries can be mass-produced in 2021, and all-solid-state mass production can be achieved in 2024. This speed is 4 years faster than Toyota's mass production schedule.

Since solid-state batteries have so many advantages, why haven't they been promoted vigorously? The main reason is cost. Currently, there are more than 20 manufacturers, start-ups and university research institutes around the world committed to solid-state battery technology, including Toyota, Panasonic, LG and CATL.
Nowadays, the pace of mass production of domestic solid-state batteries is accelerating. Huineng Technology, a solid-state battery manufacturer, revealed that the company will trial-produce the first generation of solid-state batteries in 2017-2018, and will achieve a production capacity of 1GWh for the first generation of solid-state power batteries in 2020.
In addition, Beijing WeiLan New Energy also stated that the company's semi-solid automotive power batteries will be launched on the market in 2021.
