President Wei visited the company's automated assembly production line and modular product testing platform, and spoke highly of the achievements made by Herui Electric Power's second-generation iron-chromium liquid flow battery stack after iterative upgrades. President Wei then gave a detailed introduction to the basic situation of China National Nuclear Huineng (Shandong) Energy Co., Ltd., and the two sides had in-depth communication on the application scenarios of iron-chromium liquid flow battery energy storage and the exploration of diverse cooperation opportunities between the two sides.
Mr. Yu warmly welcomed Mr. Wei's visit and said that as an intrinsically safe energy storage technology, iron-chromium flow battery has the advantages of good safety, long life and fast response. With the continuous upgrading of R&D technology and the continuous expansion of the industry scale, the cost of the battery stack will continue to decline. It is hoped that through the platform advantages of CNNC Energy and SPIC in their respective fields, opportunities for win-win cooperation between the two parties will be found to promote the implementation of the iron-chromium flow battery project in Shandong.
