On September 1, the Jiangsu Province Port Low-carbon Transshipment Demonstration Project was launched and the new energy heavy truck province-wide replacement ceremony and the battery replacement service signing ceremony were held in Nanjing and Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province respectively. The new energy heavy truck battery replacement will be fully adapted to the Honeycomb Energy heavy truck commercial battery 282 battery system in the battery replacement stations and vehicles to be built in Xinshengwei and ports across the province, effectively promoting the province-wide replacement layout in Jiangsu Province. This province-wide replacement has achieved the first battery system replacement between different cities in the country, which is an important milestone in the process of province-wide replacement in Jiangsu Province.
The event was hosted by Nanjing Transportation Bureau and Zhenjiang Transportation Bureau, and guided by Jiangsu Transportation Department, Jiangsu Industry and Information Technology Department and other departments. Government and enterprise representatives from Jiangsu Transportation Department, Industry and Information Technology Department, Kaiwo Automobile, Diantou Yichong and Honeycomb Energy attended the launch ceremony and signing ceremony.
As the first heavy-duty truck battery swap station in operation on a highway in Jiangsu Province, the Nanjing Tiexinqiao battery swap station uses the 282 battery system and future integrated battery for power storage independently developed by Honeycomb Energy. The battery system has high energy density, long cycle life, and high adaptability. It is also manufactured using a stacking process, which greatly improves the consistency of the battery cell interface and facilitates the subsequent stable performance of the battery cells. In the future, Honeycomb Energy will continue to rely on its advantages in power batteries to launch a new integrated battery pack for power storage in the field of battery swapping, providing more cost-effective battery services for the Jiangsu Province inter-bank swapping market, helping Jiangsu Province to establish and improve the battery swapping standard system, and accelerating the construction of the Jiangsu Province inter-bank swapping system ecosystem.
