On September 3, the groundbreaking ceremony for Sineng Electric's 15GW energy storage converter and energy storage system integrated R&D and industrialization project was held in Wuxi. Sineng Electric Chairman Wu Qiang, President Duan Yuhe, Executive Vice President Chen Ganfeng, Vice President Li Jianfei, and other relevant leaders of the general contractor attended the ceremony.
The 15GW energy storage inverter and energy storage system integrated production base invested and constructed by Sineng Electric this time is located in the industrial transformation cluster area of Huishan Economic Development Zone, Wuxi City. The project covers a total area of 120 acres and mainly produces integrated system products such as energy storage inverters and energy storage battery PACKs. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, gradually release production capacity in 2025, and achieve full production in 2029. By then, Sineng Electric will introduce advanced intelligent equipment and integrate information systems such as SRM, CRM, SAP, MES, and WMS to build another digital benchmark factory, continuously improve the development potential of efficient energy saving and lean manufacturing, and continuously consolidate the company's dominant position as a world-class energy storage solution provider, and contribute more to the global green transformation.
