On September 10, the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission officially replied to the State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company's "Reply Regarding the Sichuan Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things Engineering Laboratory Project", agreeing that the company would build the Sichuan Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things Engineering Laboratory.
The construction period of Sichuan Province Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things Engineering Laboratory is 24 months. The construction site is Sichuan Electric Power Research Institute. The content includes four research laboratories, including power grid information security and protection technology, power grid operation data quality improvement technology, large power grid analysis and control technology, and power regulation technology based on artificial intelligence. This laboratory is the first ubiquitous power Internet of Things engineering laboratory in China approved by the provincial Development and Reform Commission. After completion, it will not only build an integrated innovation platform for industry, academia, research and application, and effectively improve the research and development technology content in the field of ubiquitous power Internet of Things, but also help promote the connection between the exploratory nature of basic research and the maturity of results required by enterprises, promote the connection between the dispersion of research results and the integration of results required by enterprises, and help cultivate and grow innovative talents in ubiquitous power Internet of Things technology.
The construction of the Sichuan Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things Engineering Laboratory by State Grid Sichuan Electric Power is the implementation of the strategic goal of the State Grid Corporation of China's "Three Types and Two Networks" enterprise, and it also deeply fits the economic and energy development goals and needs of Sichuan. In April this year, the company proposed to build the Sichuan Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things Engineering Laboratory around the strategic goal of the "Three Types and Two Networks" world-class energy Internet enterprise development of State Grid Corporation. During the application process, the company repeatedly invited top experts in related industries such as electricity, information, and networks to make suggestions for the construction of the laboratory, and put forward opinions on the laboratory's goals, tasks, research content, and construction plans; at the same time, it also cooperated with external scientific research units to leverage their superior technologies and resources. Through careful organization and careful planning, the Sichuan Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things Engineering Laboratory applied by State Grid Sichuan Electric Power finally passed the expert defense organized by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and approved the construction.
