China Energy Storage Network News : Today, the first white paper on the development of provincial power grid services for the global energy internet was released in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province, proposing "ten major projects" to build a "model room" for the global energy internet, in order to lead energy and power technology innovation and serve the "Green Olympics, Low-carbon Olympics".
This White Paper on the Development of Zhangjiakou Innovation Demonstration Zone of Global Energy Internet proposes to build five demonstration projects, including flexible DC power grid, virtual synchronous generator, deep-cold liquefied compressed air energy storage, flexible substation and AC/DC distribution network, as well as five key projects, including UHV, Internet of Vehicles, clean substitution and electric energy substitution, to explore scientific paths for the construction of global energy Internet in terms of scale, technological innovation and economic feasibility.
As the "executor" of the "Ten Major Projects", State Grid Jibei Electric Power Company has formulated a clear timetable: During the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, it will invest 23 billion yuan to build five demonstration projects and five key projects to make the Global Energy Internet Zhangjiakou Innovation Demonstration Zone move from planning to reality. It is worth noting that there are many "world firsts" in these "Ten Major Projects", among which the Flexible DC Grid Demonstration Project will be the world's first ±500 kV four-terminal DC grid, with a transmission capacity of 3 million kilowatts after completion.
