Sungrow, the world's leading photovoltaic inverter manufacturer, announced that its new installations in the UK market exceeded 100MW in the first quarter of 2016.
To date, Sungrow’s cumulative installed capacity in the UK market has exceeded 260MW, with its products mainly including SG2000/2500 and SG2000/2500-MV containerized solutions, SG60KTL string inverters and SG1000MX central inverters.
The SG2000/2500 containerized solution has been widely deployed in the Chinese, Indian and British markets with its compact design and 98.7% maximum inverter efficiency. The solution can work continuously and stably in the temperature range of -35°C to +60°C, and has an anti-PID function. Its DC to AC ratio reaches 1.4, ensuring power generation revenue. In order to better meet customer needs, Sungrow has also launched the SG2000/2500-MV of the same series, which integrates SG500/630MX centralized inverters, megavolt transformers, megavolt switches and other components in a 20-foot standard container, providing customers with a one-stop solution from easy transportation to fast installation, making revenue more secure. The solution is highly adaptable, easy to maintain, and can operate stably in a variety of terrains around the world.
As Sungrow's most popular string inverter in the UK market, the SG60KTL has a maximum efficiency of 99% and extremely high power generation benefits. Its lightweight design makes it only 55 kg, 634x959x267mm in size, and achieves an output of 60 kilowatts.

In 2015, Sungrow's global photovoltaic inverter shipments surpassed SMA for the first time, becoming the world's number one.
