Italian manufacturer Elettronica Santerno has supplied 20 Sunway inverters to China Guodian Corporation for a 200MW PV power plant in China’s Qinghai province.
The installed capacity is 20MW and the altitude is 2,850 meters. This requires the inverters, components and other equipment to be able to withstand adverse weather conditions, so China Guodian Group selected the rugged N.18 Sunway TG 730 and N.2 Sunway TG 750 inverters.
The next phase of development will begin soon, with an installed capacity of 30MW, with a further 50MW coming online next year and the final 100MW expected to be completed in 2015.
