LG recently announced the launch of a new generation of high-efficiency module products. Compared with traditional module products, LG's MonoX and MultiX modules are 8.3% and 4.3% more efficient respectively. The industry standard for solar modules is 240-245W, and LG's high-efficiency X module has a power of 260W and consists of 60 panels.
Both products will be available in the U.S. in the fourth quarter of 2011.
