It is a little difficult to compare ground-mounted solar systems with GPS tracking devices to rooftop solar arrays. Ground-mounted solar systems not only require additional equipment, but also usually require digging a trench to connect the lines to the house. In addition, ground-mounted solar systems are faster to set up, usually in a day, which reduces labor costs.
