The world's largest solar-powered aircraft, Solar Impulse, successfully took off at the 49th Paris Air Show and performed a 20-minute flight show, attracting a large number of people to watch.

The Solar Impulse was manufactured in Switzerland, with a fuselage length of only 22 meters, but a wing length of 63.4 meters, covered with more than 11,000 solar panels. Due to the extensive use of ultra-light carbon fiber composite materials, the Solar Impulse weighs only 1,600 kilograms, equivalent to the weight of a light truck.
